Opportunity overview

Join HealthEdge's Bangalore development teams during an AWS cloud migration and frontend modernization.

Build healthcare software used by health plans to improve payment integrity, reduce fraud, and manage medical costs.

Collaborate with product, content, QA, and engineering teams in a distributed organization.

Key responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable software features from business and technical requirements.
  • Build RESTful WebAPI services using JSON in distributed systems.
  • Develop and optimize SQL Server databases, procedures, functions, triggers, and queries.
  • Create responsive interfaces with AngularJS, Angular, React, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Write documented code using SOLID principles, design patterns, and automated unit tests.
  • Resolve concurrency issues, debug complex code, and refine features from testing and production feedback.
  • Contribute to architecture decisions and technical design documentation.
  • Participate in requirements analysis, development, deployment, and production support.
  • Collaborate with distributed teams and identify technology and process improvements.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Five to eight years of professional experience building enterprise-scale software applications.
  • Strong C# expertise with the .NET Framework and .NET Core/5+.
  • SQL Server development experience, including stored procedures, functions, views, indexes, and query optimization.
  • RESTful API development using WebAPI or similar frameworks.
  • Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, including AngularJS, Angular, and/or React.
  • Experience with Kafka, RedPanda, or similar event streaming platforms.
  • Experience with unit testing, test-driven development, MVC/MVVM, enterprise architecture, Git, and SOLID principles.

Preferred technologies

  • AWS experience is a major plus during the infrastructure migration.
  • Microsoft Fabric, Azure data platforms, and Power BI are preferred technologies.
  • Elasticsearch, Playwright, Redis, Microsoft Rules Engine, Docker, Kubernetes, Entity Framework, and performance profiling are preferred.
  • Healthcare technology, HIPAA compliance, or regulated-industry experience is preferred.

  • The position is based in the Bangalore, India office.
