The Site Engineer will supervise and execute on-site construction activities for a new project in Abu Dhabi.
The role coordinates with project managers, subcontractors, and consultants to monitor progress, quality, safety, and timely delivery.
Responsibilities
- Plan construction activities and determine labor and material requirements to meet project deadlines.
- Manage workers and monitor loaders used for building backfilling to match compaction test requirements.
- Coordinate woodwork drawings with workers to secure approvals and avoid discrepancies.
- Draft progress reports and variation reports.
- Monitor contractor work for compliance with standards and client expectations.
- Coordinate maintenance and safety procedures, service schedules, and supplies needed to keep machines and equipment in prescribed condition.
- Support problem-solving, resource management, and timely completion of project milestones.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Seven years of relevant experience in the UAE; tourism and hospitality project experience is preferred.
- Excellent command of English.
- Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD.
