Oversees and implements quality control systems across UAE construction projects.
Leads site QC teams and coordinates with construction, technical office, and consultant teams.
Ensures work complies with project specifications, contract requirements, approved drawings, materials, and local and international standards.
Quality control and inspections
- Create Inspection Test Plans covering material inspection types, surveys, and steps.
- Plan laboratory testing, interpret results, and compare them with specifications to verify compliance.
- Participate in out-of-specification and failure investigations and recommend corrective actions.
- Perform routine and non-routine tests on in-process and raw materials, environmental samples, and finished goods.
- Review method statements from the shop drawing team and communicate quality plans to subcontractors.
- Present material submittals, including material quality information and data sheets, to project consultants.
- Respond to inspection requests and inspect products and materials with consultants.
- Assess and calibrate project equipment and materials against quality and performance standards.
- Support timely project delivery and minimize rework.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil or architectural engineering.
- 7–9 years of experience in the UAE is required.
- Proven experience working on TAQA projects is required.
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and techniques for effective manufacturing and distribution.
- PMP certification is a plus.
