Key responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage Fortinet FortiGate firewalls.
- Configure and support Palo Alto firewalls.
- Manage and troubleshoot F5 WAF and load balancers.
- Review firewall rules; manage and optimize policies.
- Manage incidents and troubleshoot network and security issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams on security enhancements and deployments.
- Provide basic EDR and antivirus support.
- Assist with basic AWS or Azure cloud security implementations.
Required skills
- Strong hands-on Fortinet/FortiGate experience is mandatory.
- Good working knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls and experience with F5 WAF and load balancing.
- Solid understanding of network security concepts and firewall technologies.
- Basic endpoint security knowledge, including EDR and antivirus, and basic exposure to AWS or Azure cloud security.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills; good communication and stakeholder management.
Preferred skills
- Fortinet, Palo Alto, or F5 certifications are preferred.
- Exposure to SASE or Zero Trust concepts is a nice-to-have.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
