Role overview

Financial and administrative duties

• Assist with preparation of the yearly revenue and expense budget and contribute to achieving revenue targets.
• Prepare sales call schedules, call reports, monthly reports, sales action plans, and monthly, quarterly, and annual personal sales goals and analyses.
• Contribute ideas for packages, programs, and promotional activities across sales, food and beverage, spa, and other hotel revenue centers.

Sales and account duties

• Respond to inquiries within 24 hours; arrange appointments, sales calls, telemarketing, and site inspections for current and prospective accounts.
• Host account decision-makers at hotel food and beverage outlets and participate in promotions with them.
• Follow up lost business, negotiate with customers, issue offers and contracts, and contribute to group conversion performance.
• Track market trends, share them with the team, and pursue new customers, sales opportunities, and business for the hotel.
• Plan business trips and attend international fairs and roadshows to expand market awareness and build relationships.
• Maintain key client relationships, update customers on hotel developments, and inform management of customer profile changes.
• Maintain the Opera customer database and generate sales activity reports; follow up outstanding account balances with the Credit Department.
• Build relationships with Accor Regional and Global Sales Offices; attend weekly sales and revenue meetings and keep senior leaders informed of concerns.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of sales experience; international 5-star hotel experience is preferred.
• Degree or diploma in Hotel Management or Business Administration.
• Strong knowledge of Opera and Microsoft Office; understanding of local culture and experience working in the region.
• Fluency in written and spoken Russian is mandatory; English and other languages are preferred.
• Understanding of the luxury market and hotel departments; professional sales and presentation skills.
