Manages and may lead risk services for commissions, providing leadership and guidance within the PMO, Planning Centre of Excellence and assigned Hub.
Responsibilities
- Lead risk management frameworks, strategies and performance across assigned commissions.
- Partner with clients, consultants and contractors to manage risks, mitigations and opportunities.
- Deliver workshops, quantitative risk analysis, reporting and assurance aligned with Mace and client requirements.
- Manage project delivery through design, planning, procurement and construction, maintaining quality and milestone performance.
- Manage budgets, project teams, stakeholders and KPIs; mentor teams and share best practice.
- Champion safety, wellbeing, inclusion and responsible delivery.
Requirements
- Experience leading risk on complex construction projects and establishing risk management or assurance frameworks.
- Comprehensive knowledge of risk tools and techniques; examples include Active Risk Manager, riskHive, atrisk and Primavera Risk Analyser.
- Extensive experience or equivalent delivering risk management services on major construction projects.
- Construction lifecycle knowledge, sector risk expertise, commercial awareness and strong stakeholder communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to handle uncertainty, multiple priorities, pressure and challenging relationships; local project health and safety knowledge.
