Mace is recruiting a Senior Planning Manager for a major programme in Saudi Arabia.
The project is a large mixed-use development with sports facilities, entertainment, arts, and associated infrastructure.
The role leads integrated teams through project phases.
Responsibilities
- Manage project planning against contractual requirements, employer and engineer objectives, and procedures.
- Establish project milestones and review work activities for milestone support.
- Integrate and verify all entities' contract scopes in the total project plan and review schedule scope representation.
- Identify schedule constraints and impacts, align departments on schedule needs, and chair interdisciplinary issue-resolution workshops.
- Review discipline activity durations against project milestones.
- Perform forensic schedule analysis for disputes or claims and study critical schedule problem areas; recommend improvement alternatives.
- Define and present Schedule Impact Reports and lead development and review of recovery plans, including additional resource evaluations.
- Monitor and report on the project critical path and schedule performance.
- Issue employer- and procedure-required reports and verify consistency with previous reports.
Requirements
- Extensive construction and project planning experience using Primavera Project Management software.
- Significant experience on large, complex projects during design and construction phases.
- Relevant work experience on high-value projects or programmes for a project management consultancy business.
