Senior React JS Developer - Remote

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of complex React applications and build responsive, scalable, accessible interfaces with JavaScript, React, HTML, and CSS.
• Optimize performance, component structure, and state management; integrate backend services and APIs with reliable data contracts and error handling.
• Translate business needs into designs and implementation plans; guide developers and conduct code reviews.
• Maintain unit tests, collaborate with quality engineering on automated journeys and testing issues, and improve reusable components and development workflows.
• Support production systems through incident investigation, root-cause analysis, fixes, and monitoring improvements.
• Present technical options and trade-offs, maintain technical documentation, and contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and risk assessment.
• Mentor peers in front-end practices without formal people-management responsibility.

Required qualifications

• Extensive hands-on JavaScript and React JS experience in enterprise-scale applications.
• Strong knowledge of React component architecture, state-management concepts, modern JavaScript, HTML/CSS, asynchronous programming, and REST APIs.
• Experience with performance optimization, version control, build tools, package managers, front-end tooling, unit testing, and code-quality practices.
• Understanding of secure coding, data protection, and practices appropriate for financial-services applications.
• Ability to investigate complex technical problems, identify root causes, and communicate resolutions; strong communication skills.

Preferred domain experience

• Experience in investment banking, brokerage, trading, or settlement operations is highly preferred.
