Own software quality across the full development lifecycle for a technology-driven organization in Dubai.
Location and work mode
- The role is based in Dubai, UAE, and is strictly onsite.
Employment
- Full-time, permanent position.
- Candidates must have a notice period of no more than 30 days; immediate joiners are preferred.
Key responsibilities
- Design, plan, and execute manual functional, regression, and integration tests for database-driven web applications.
- Work with developers and business analysts across Waterfall and Agile/SCRUM to define acceptance criteria and resolve defects.
- Manage test plans, defect tracking, and documentation using MS Team Foundation Server.
- Use SQL to validate data integrity and back-end database behavior in end-to-end workflows.
- Improve testing standards and practices to strengthen QA maturity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of software project quality control experience and strong manual testing expertise.
- Strong SQL knowledge and hands-on experience with database-driven web application testing.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, VBScript, or CSS in web application testing.
- Proficiency with issue-tracking tools and source control systems, including GIT.
