Key work
- Build and maintain production BI solutions, data transformations, semantic models, and dashboards.
- Work with data pipelines, lakehouses or warehouses, semantic layers, and scheduled refresh processes using Microsoft Fabric or a similar platform.
- Apply data preparation and analytics engineering principles to produce reporting assets.
- Implement data validation, troubleshoot discrepancies, optimize queries, and build maintainable reusable reporting assets.
- Use AI coding tools while testing and verifying generated SQL, DAX, and transformation code.
- Work with platform and central IT teams on integrations and deployment practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Experience figures conflict within the posting: 7+ years in the role details and 3+ years of hands-on production BI experience in the qualification list.
- Strong SQL, Power BI, DAX, dimensional data modeling, data preparation, and analytics engineering skills.
- Practical experience with Microsoft Fabric or a similar data platform, including pipelines, lakehouses or warehouses, semantic layers, and scheduled refreshes.
- Familiarity with Git, deployment practices, Azure integrations, and collaboration with platform and central IT teams.
- Advanced practical use of AI coding tools such as Cursor or Claude CLI, with careful testing and verification of generated code.
- Strong ownership, curiosity, and communication skills; independently built dashboards, data tools, or technical projects are valued.
- Real estate experience is an advantage.
