Work across the stack with designers and backend engineers to deliver intuitive, scalable applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable web applications using Angular.
- Build real-time video analytics dashboards and integrate WebSockets for live feeds and events.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend developers on responsive, efficient interfaces.
- Translate UX/UI mockups and wireframes into functional interfaces and visualise AI insights, alerts, and tracking.
- Integrate front-end components with backend services and APIs and manage application state.
- Follow coding standards, participate in code reviews, and use automated testing.
- Optimise performance and ensure seamless experiences across devices and browsers.
- Participate in the software development lifecycle from planning and design through deployment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Five to nine years of relevant experience as an Angular front-end or full-stack engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Angular v2+, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Experience with state-management libraries such as RxJS, NgRx, or Redux; solid RESTful API and backend-integration understanding.
- Familiarity with version control, preferably Git; responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and basic backend/API understanding.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred skills
- Experience with AI or machine-learning technologies is preferred.
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies is preferred.
- Familiarity with AWS or Azure is preferred.
