Join Emirates Group IT's Quality Engineering team as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer.
Develop quality engineering practices for an agile feature team, supporting quality products and services across the customer journey.
Responsibilities
- Translate functional and non-functional requirements with project members, architects, and software engineers.
- Provide product owners early feedback on risks in requirements and design.
- Coordinate test environments, test data, and cross-team dependency testing.
- Configure test tools for metrics and dashboards.
- Guide engineers in automated functional testing through continuous integration.
- Build and maintain automation frameworks and test harnesses for end-to-end tests.
- Facilitate quality gates and adherence to quality requirements.
Qualifications and experience
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or relevant experience.
- At least 3 years of IT experience, including quality engineering in digital or ecommerce environments.
- Experience in a software quality engineering lead or equivalent role covering multiple products.
- Hands-on UI and API automation framework development; familiarity with programming and scripting languages and proficiency in at least two languages.
- Experience with one or more listed automation tools, Git-based source control, and CI tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with product input on business flows and scenario mapping, exploratory and context-driven testing, and testing heuristics.
- Experience with virtual machines and containers on-premises and in cloud environments; experience leading teams to improve delivery quality.
