The Security Coordinator works in the Emirates Group Facilities Team, supporting operational security issues and compliance with security policies, the Airline Security Program, and the Security Management System.
The role includes collating, recording, analysing, investigating, alerting, and reporting irregularities that may result in security policy non-conformity.
Responsibilities
- Support security operations with statistics, logistics, roster patterns, and administration.
- Conduct performance reviews and support training and development initiatives and consistent application of company policy.
- Maintain current documents, manuals, and records for auditing.
- Contribute to reviews of standard operating procedures, contracts, and other documents affecting operations.
- Support daily security requirements, including additional parking and VIP visitor arrangements.
- Review reported incidents daily and decide on required action.
- Maintain the ticket and credit card fraud database and prepare fraud alerts for network stations.
- Coordinate investigations and assist with evidence gathering in cases involving Group staff.
- Conduct less complex investigations independently and provide reports with recommendations.
- Record, collate, analyse, and report data supporting administration and customer feedback.
Qualifications and experience
- Have 12 years of schooling or equivalent.
- Have 3+ years of experience; aviation security experience is preferred.
- Experience in aviation, supervision, and root cause analysis is an advantage.
- Report-writing ability, computer literacy, and experience in investigation, risk assessment, and fraud prevention are advantageous.
