Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Job purpose

Key responsibilities

• Support development and implementation of the project Quality Program.
• Conduct independent surveillance and audits against project procedures, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Maintain compliance records, audit reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective-action documentation.
• Update the Quality Lead on quality activities and project performance.
• Ensure QMS compliance and drive system improvement; establish, implement, maintain, and improve the project QMS.
• Maintain the Contract Quality Plan, Project Quality Plan, and other quality documentation.
• Conduct audits, inspections, assessments, and surveys as directed.
• Manage contractor-generated quality-related business, engineering, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate incoming and outgoing quality activities across the project.
• Monitor vendor documentation deliverables against schedules and project requirements.
• Coordinate internal, supplier, subcontractor, and vendor quality activities.

Qualifications and requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 12 years of QA/QC experience in Oil & Gas, EPC, EPCM, Industrial, or Infrastructure projects.
• GCC project experience is mandatory.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Proven QMS development, implementation, review, and maintenance experience; strong practical knowledge of ISO 9001 and project quality requirements.
• Experience in internal, subcontractor, and supplier audits, quality surveillance, documentation, compliance, corrective and preventive actions, and audit reporting.

Preferred qualifications and industries

• Relevant quality certifications are preferred, if applicable.
• Preferred industry experience includes EPC/EPCM, Oil & Gas, petrochemical, energy, and industrial construction projects.
