Job summary

The Senior QA & Automation Engineer drives quality across enterprise applications, CRM, mobile applications, APIs, and integrations.

The role combines test automation, functional QA, UAT coordination, business-user engagement, and training to support tested and adopted solutions through production.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated frameworks for web, mobile, and API applications using Playwright, Selenium, and Appium.
  • Plan and execute functional, regression, integration, smoke, API, and performance testing across applications and releases.
  • Define test scenarios and validate business processes with Product Owners, business users, and developers.
  • Coordinate UAT test planning, users, issue tracking, retesting, and sign-off; support users through testing, releases, and post-production stabilization.
  • Maintain test cases, scripts, data, defect logs, and traceability; conduct training, demonstrations, and knowledge-transfer sessions.
  • Prepare training guides, quick reference guides, FAQs, and release notes.
  • Validate APIs, integrations, and databases using Postman, Swagger, RestAssured, and SQL; integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Establish reusable automation components, regression suites, QA standards, and reporting; contribute QA input to Agile ceremonies and release-readiness assessments.
  • Use GenAI/AI-assisted tools where appropriate for test case generation, automation scripting, defect analysis, and QA productivity.

Required skills and experience

  • 5–8+ years of QA experience with strong hands-on test automation experience.
  • Experience with Playwright, Selenium, and/or Appium; programming skills in Python, Java, or C#.
  • Knowledge of API testing, REST/SOAP, Postman, Swagger, SQL, and database validation.
  • Experience with Jira/Xray, Confluence, test management tools, Git, and CI/CD tools; Azure DevOps or Jenkins is preferred.
  • Experience developing Page Object Model, BDD, data-driven, or hybrid automation frameworks and understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery.
  • Strong communication and ability to work with business users and stakeholders; demonstrated UAT coordination, user support, and application training experience.

Additional job requirements

  • Experience with Salesforce/CRM, Oracle Fusion/Oracle EBS, MuleSoft or other integration platforms, mobile testing across iOS and Android, JMeter, Azure Cloud/DevOps, GenAI/LLM-assisted QA, or real estate/property management is listed.
  • ISTQB or equivalent QA certification is listed.
