CSCEC Middle East is recruiting Senior Mechanical Procurement Engineers for its Procurement Department in Dubai.
Duties and responsibilities
- Manage procurement of project auxiliary and miscellaneous materials, from RFQ and quotation comparison through negotiation, ordering, delivery coordination, and supplier management.
- Manage procurement of manpower subcontractors and hourly workers, including RFQs, negotiation, contract finalization, and performance follow-up.
- Invite qualified bidders and follow up for quotations; evaluate bids against specifications and project requirements and negotiate value and credit terms.
- Prepare price and technical evaluation reports and recommend work-package awards.
- Review successful bidders’ technical data and coordinate technical submittals with project teams to ensure scope and contractual terms are implemented.
- Prepare work-package agreements and follow up on advance-payment and performance bank guarantees.
- Report procurement status regularly to the team leader or superior.
- Survey construction-material prices and track new materials and technologies.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 10 years of relevant work experience.
