Senior Public Relations Manager

We are looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager to join a leading global communications agency in its Riyadh office, working across high-profile client accounts with a preference for candidates who have a strong corporate communications and PR background.

This is an exciting opportunity for a communications professional who understands the Saudi market, has experience managing complex client relationships and can deliver strategic PR campaigns that build brand reputation, strengthen stakeholder relationships and drive meaningful media coverage.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing client accounts, developing communications strategies and leading the delivery of integrated PR campaigns, working closely with internal teams and senior client stakeholders.

• Manage day-to-day client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and key point of contact for PR and communications activity.
• Develop and execute strategic PR and communications plans aligned with client objectives and business priorities.
• Lead corporate communications initiatives, including corporate reputation, executive profiling, thought leadership, stakeholder communications and brand positioning.
• Oversee media relations, proactively building relationships with journalists, editors and relevant media outlets across Saudi Arabia and the wider MENA region.
• Develop compelling press releases, media pitches, briefing documents, key messages, statements, speeches and corporate content.
• Identify opportunities for proactive storytelling, securing relevant media coverage and strengthening client visibility and reputation.
• Manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously, ensuring deliverables are completed to a high standard and within agreed timelines and budgets.
• Support crisis communications and issues management, helping clients navigate sensitive topics and protect their reputation.
• Work closely with regional and global agency teams to ensure consistency of messaging and alignment across markets.
• Monitor media coverage, industry developments and the wider Saudi business landscape to identify opportunities and potential risks for clients.
• Prepare client reports, campaign evaluations and performance analysis, providing clear insights and recommendations.
• Support new business pitches, proposals and account growth opportunities.
• Mentor junior team members, overseeing the quality of their work and supporting their professional development.

• 5-7 years of experience in PR, corporate communications or strategic communications, ideally within an agency environment.
• Previous experience managing client accounts and delivering PR campaigns from planning through to execution.
• Strong corporate communications experience is highly desirable, including corporate reputation, thought leadership, executive communications or stakeholder engagement.
• Experience working with corporate, government, financial services, energy, technology or other B2B clients would be advantageous.
• A strong understanding of the Saudi Arabian media landscape, business environment and communications market.
• Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences and channels.
• Established media relations experience and the confidence to engage with journalists and senior client stakeholders.
• Strong project management skills, commercial awareness and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced agency environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and provide strategic counsel to clients.
• Fluency in English is essential. Arabic language skills would be highly advantageous.
