Senior leadership opportunity in the technology and innovation sector in Dubai.
The Managing Director will shape strategy, accelerate growth, build high-value partnerships, and lead the organization through its next stage of development.
Key responsibilities
- Define and execute growth strategy, identifying new markets, commercial opportunities, partnerships, and initiatives for sustainable long-term value.
- Own overall business performance and translate strategic priorities into commercial, financial, and operational objectives.
- Build relationships with investors, corporate leaders, government stakeholders, strategic partners, and decision-makers across the UAE and GCC.
- Lead business development opportunities, negotiations, strategic alliances, and market expansion initiatives; strengthen the organization’s regional presence.
- Establish governance and operating discipline across financial performance, resource allocation, organizational priorities, and executive decision-making.
- Build, mentor, and empower a high-performing leadership team and create a culture of entrepreneurship, accountability, innovation, and execution.
Requirements
- 12+ years of progressive leadership experience across technology, innovation, investment, strategy, business development, or high-growth organizations.
- Proven track record of building, scaling, or transforming businesses and delivering measurable commercial results.
- Strong commercial and financial judgment, with experience across revenue growth, strategic partnerships, investment, fundraising, or business expansion.
- Deep understanding of the UAE and GCC business environment and ability to engage with senior corporate, government, investor, and external stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial, execution-focused approach and ability to operate effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Technology, or a related discipline; an MBA or similar postgraduate qualification is advantageous.
