Senior Project Manager - Landscape

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from inception to completion; manage execution plans, schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Act as the primary contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders; monitor scope, programme, budget, quality, and contractual delivery.
• Coordinate landscape architects, urban designers, engineers, environmental specialists, and external consultants.
• Manage fee proposals, contract administration, change management, invoicing, and financial reporting.
• Identify and mitigate risks; oversee design reviews, technical coordination, and quality assurance.
• Support procurement, tendering, contractor engagement, and construction administration.
• Mentor team members and contribute to business development, client relationships, proposals, and pursuit opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, health and safety requirements, regulatory frameworks, and industry best practices.

Candidate requirements

• Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture, architecture, urban design, engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
• At least 10–15 years delivering complex landscape architecture, urban realm, infrastructure, or multidisciplinary design projects.
• Proven experience managing large-scale projects through design and construction; experience leading multidisciplinary consultancy or professional-services teams.
• Strong project, commercial, contract, and risk management knowledge; stakeholder management, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Financial acumen managing budgets, forecasts, and profitability; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is advantageous; relevant chartership or professional membership is preferred.
