Role overview

Security clearance

• Candidates must hold or be capable of obtaining UK Security Clearance at SC level.
• Eligibility to obtain the required security clearance is an important part of the recruitment process.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery against time, cost, quality, scope, risk and benefit objectives.
• Lead a multidisciplinary project team and maintain relationships with clients, supply chain and stakeholders.
• Lead health, safety and environmental performance, governance, reporting and project reviews.
• Align plans, resources, procurement and delivery strategies with programme milestones.
• Lead risk and opportunity reviews and oversee procurement and subcontract packages.
• Drive quality, assurance, handover, certification, scheduling and project controls.
• Provide commercial and contractual leadership and ensure effective contract administration.
• Recruit, develop, coach and lead a high-performing project team.

Candidate profile

• Demonstrated delivery of major and complex projects.
• Experience with safe systems of work and standard forms of contract.
• Strong commercial awareness, project management, stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong leadership, people management, coaching, problem-solving and decision-making capability.
• Knowledge of performance management techniques and key project metrics.

Advantageous qualifications

• Experience across major project types, professional membership, a relevant construction, engineering or project management degree, or equivalent industry experience.
• APM PFQ, PMQ or PPQ, or an equivalent project management qualification.
• CSCS, SMSTS, Microsoft 365 and a full UK driving licence.
