Monitors and executes purchasing and store activities so divisions receive products that meet specifications and timelines.
Handles end-to-end general purchasing and civil construction materials procurement.
Responsibilities
- Develop procurement policies, procedures, and strategies aligned with company requirements.
- Monitor divisional replenishment-spares requirements and coordinate the e-procurement platform.
- Review and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
- Expand the vendor base, evaluate supplier performance, delivery, and prices, and resolve supplier issues.
- Choose cost-effective purchasing options while maintaining quality; supervise quote comparisons and sourcing.
- Support CAPEX bidding and procure civil construction materials to project specifications.
- Coordinate timely deliveries with project and site teams, stores, and relevant business divisions.
- Manage strategic supplier relationships and coordinate with QA/QC on material compliance.
- Oversee annual inventory stocktake and prepare monthly purchase and cost-savings reports.
Qualifications and experience
- Diploma or graduate qualification in an engineering-related academic field.
- At least 5 years of experience in general, spare-parts, or civil construction materials procurement management.
Competencies
- Good client relations, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of company procurement procedures.
- Proficiency in data analysis and management.
