Role Overview
Manage and grow Gulftainer's broader Port and Terminal customer base from within the office.
Focus on a high number of mid-sized and smaller customers that may become future major accounts.
The role owns personal targets and provides a recognized route into external sales.
Core Responsibilities
- Initiate contact with customers by telephone and hold commercial conversations.
- Work systematically through a large account list and maintain momentum across many small opportunities.
- Manage customer relationships and sales activity across the Port and Terminal customer base.
- Use CRM systems, Excel, and standard commercial reporting to organize and track activity.
- Remain resilient, self-motivated, and accountable for personal targets.
Experience and Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in inside sales, telesales, commercial support, or customer service.
- Experience in shipping, freight forwarding, logistics, or ports is preferred.
- Candidates should be comfortable initiating telephone contact and conducting commercial conversations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
- Candidates should be confident with CRM systems, Excel, and standard commercial reporting.
- Basic understanding of container shipping, terminal services, and trade documentation is useful, or candidates should be willing and able to learn quickly.
- A bachelor's degree, or a diploma with relevant experience, is required.
- Fluent English is required; Arabic, Hindi, or Urdu is advantageous.

- The role is based within the office.
- The position manages customers from the office rather than through an external sales territory.
