CSCEC Middle East is recruiting a Senior Procurement Engineer for its Procurement Team on a large-scale high-rise tower project in Dhabi.
Duties and responsibilities
- Study material and subcontract work requirements against contract documents.
- Prepare RFQ or enquiry packages comprising specifications, drawings, and bills of quantity.
- Invite qualified bidders and follow up with subcontractors and suppliers for quotations.
- Evaluate quotations for compliance and negotiate commercial value and credit terms.
- Prepare price and technical evaluation reports and recommend work-package awards.
- Review successful bidders’ technical data and coordinate project-team submittals against scope and contract terms.
- Prepare agreements to formalize work packages and follow up on advance-payment and performance guarantees.
- Report procurement status regularly; survey construction-material prices and track new materials and technology.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.
- At least 7 years of work experience.
