Responsibilities
- Lead planning for large or multiple infrastructure projects from tender through completion.
- Develop Primavera P6 baseline programmes aligned with contract requirements, scope, and construction methodology; define WBS, activity logic, durations, and resource and cost loading.
- Submit baseline and revised programmes for Client or Consultant approval and handle review comments.
- Monitor progress, critical and near-critical paths, and recommend recovery plans.
- Perform delay analysis using Time Impact Analysis, As-Planned vs As-Built, and Windows Analysis; prepare EOT claims with the commercial team.
- Assess time impacts of variations and change orders; analyse earned value (SPI, CPI) and cash flow forecasts.
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards for project KPIs, progress, and forecasts.
- Prepare progress reports, look-ahead schedules, and S-curves; review subcontractor programmes and support interim payment applications.
- Represent planning in progress meetings, mentor Planning Engineers, and establish project planning standards and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 10+ years of planning experience, including at least five years on UAE infrastructure projects in a lead planning role.
- Experience with a contracting company is required.
- Experience on Sharjah projects, such as SRTA, SEWA, or Sharjah Municipality projects, is strongly preferred.
- Exposure to roads, bridges, utilities, drainage, and other infrastructure works.
- Proven delay analysis and EOT claim preparation experience; hands-on Power BI dashboard experience and strong command of Power BI.
- Strong command of CPM scheduling, resource loading, earned value, and progress measurement.
