Role overview

Design, deliver, and support building-level IT and OT networks across CBRE's portfolio in an expanding PropTech environment.

The role shapes secure, scalable deployments of real estate technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead network upgrades involving switching, wireless, and firewalls; design resilient topologies and segment OT and IT traffic.
  • Architect secure building-technology deployments with regional OT teams, covering HVAC, elevators, lighting controls, and parking systems.
  • Audit property networks, monitor tickets and change requests, and work within established SLAs.
  • Provide hands-on and remote deployment support and participate in after-hours support and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain IP schemes, topology diagrams, asset inventories, and consolidated network and OT equipment documentation.
  • Assess existing infrastructure and security posture, and communicate status to teams, management, and customers.
  • Work with Cybersecurity to remediate vulnerabilities and implement network automation and proactive monitoring.

Requirements

  • CCNP and NSE4 certifications are mandatory; candidates willing to earn both within three months of starting will be considered.
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred with 5–8 years of relevant experience; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Sound judgment using multiple information sources, willingness to reconsider existing solutions, strong organization, and an inquisitive mindset.
  • NSE7 certification is strongly preferred.

Role scope

  • Apply in-depth principles and techniques to complex assignments and develop innovative solutions.
  • Coach others, share specialist knowledge, and collaborate across job disciplines and related teams.
  • Build consensus, communicate difficult or sensitive information, and work within broad guidelines and policies.

Compensation

  • The stated salary range is $110,000–$120,000 annually, or $52.89–$57.70 per hour; the offer depends on skills, qualifications, and experience.
