Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily team activities, set work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff.
- Set and track staff and department deadlines; mentor and coach team members as needed.
- Apply knowledge of business and multiple disciplines to departmental performance, including regulatory compliance and facility surveys.
- Resolve complex operational and organizational problems using appropriate resources.
- Improve existing methods, processes, and standards.
What you'll need
- Ability to communicate sensitive and complex information, set performance expectations, and handle problems.
- Leadership skills to set, manage, and achieve targets that affect multiple departmental results.
- Sophisticated math skills, including calculating percentages, fractions, and moderately complex financial figures.
