The role is part of the accounts receivable and accounts payable function and covers invoice, payment, and cash-management activities.
Responsibilities
- Verify payment and invoice information before distribution; receive, process, and post incoming payments.
- Generate and process commissions, verify fee structures with internal teams, and confirm terms are current monthly.
- Prepare monthly reports on delinquent accounts, exceptions, contingent liabilities, and aged receivables; process employee expense reports.
- Post documentation to accounting and billing systems and verify accuracy.
- Recover debts, including written-off accounts, and maintain relationships with collection and credit reporting agencies and credit insurers.
- Work within standardized procedures to meet objectives and deadlines, communicate clearly, and check for understanding.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of accounting fundamentals; up to 3 years of relevant experience.
- A bachelor's degree is preferred; a combination of education and experience may be considered instead.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Intermediate math skills, organizational skills, an inquisitive mindset, and experience analyzing information to make judgments.
- Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
