Senior Operator role focused on production line operations, equipment performance, and process improvement.
Production operations and improvement
- Lead or participate in CIQ and NC analysis addressing improvement opportunities and recurring problems.
- Manage line operations when the line leader and supervisor are absent; participate in PDCA/SDCA groups related to key performance indicators.
- Operate and troubleshoot complex equipment, perform machine condition checks, and prepare materials and equipment for line startup.
- Monitor equipment performance, adjust parameters to standard procedures, and notify operators of malfunctions.
- Reduce rework, scrap, and excess product weight; support production scheduling and follow nominal equipment capacity.
- Fill in and interpret control charts, maintain critical process parameters, and participate in or initiate improvement projects.
Education and workplace requirements
- Secondary school (Grade 12), technical certificate, or equivalent.
- Follow HACCP, HSE, 5S, Good Manufacturing Practice, Food Defense, and other applicable workplace procedures.
- Follow BRF sustainability guidelines and support sustainability indicators and global ESG commitments through routine work.
