Cognizant seeks an experienced Senior C# .NET Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications and services.
The role includes cross-functional collaboration, architecture discussions, and delivery of scalable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain applications, REST APIs, microservices, SQL Server data structures, and Angular interfaces.
- Collaborate on requirements, architecture, code reviews, production troubleshooting, and system performance.
- Contribute to CI/CD and deployment automation, mentor junior developers, and participate in Agile ceremonies.
Required skills
- Strong experience in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and Web API.
- Knowledge of OOP, design patterns, SQL Server database design and optimization, stored procedures, and RESTful services.
- Knowledge of Entity Framework or another ORM, source control and CI/CD tools, Azure, and Agile/Scrum.
Preferred skills
- Preferred: Angular, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, microservices, Docker/Kubernetes, and automated testing.
- Nice to have: Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Service Bus, API Management, enterprise digital transformation, DevOps, or Infrastructure-as-Code.
Compensation and benefits
- Salary is $90,000–$115,000 yearly, plus COLA; position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program.
- Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; paid holidays and time off; 401(k); disability coverage; parental leave; and employee stock purchase plan.
