Senior Mortgage Lead - PropTech

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, mortgage relationship managers, and lending teams across the UAE.
• Own the mortgage submission process, ensuring all applications are accurate, complete, and submission-ready.
• Establish and manage service level agreements (SLAs), escalation processes, and communication channels with banking partners.
• Lead and support the mortgage processing and fulfillment team to ensure efficient progression of applications through the pipeline.
• Review client profiles and recommend suitable mortgage solutions based on eligibility, affordability, income, nationality, employment type, loan-to-value (LTV), debt burden ratio (DBR), and property profile.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of mortgage products, pricing structures, lending policies, approval criteria, and documentation requirements across multiple banks.
• Support mortgage calculations, affordability assessments, lender comparisons, and client recommendations.
• Monitor application progress, approvals, declines, turnaround times, and bank feedback to improve conversion rates and operational efficiency.
• Develop and implement internal processes, quality controls, submission standards, and operational best practices.
• Train and mentor team members on mortgage policies, documentation requirements, and market developments.
• Act as the key liaison between advisors, processing teams, banking partners, and clients where required.

Requirements

• Proven experience within the UAE mortgage market, either with a bank, mortgage brokerage, or property finance provider.
• Strong existing relationships with UAE banks and mortgage relationship managers.
• Comprehensive knowledge of UAE mortgage products and lending policies.
• Experience handling purchase, refinance, buyout, off-plan, handover, and ready property mortgage transactions.
• Strong understanding of LTV, DBR, affordability calculations, eligibility criteria, and credit assessment processes.
• Highly detail-oriented with the ability to review and quality-check applications prior to submission.
• Experience managing mortgage operations, processing teams, or fulfillment functions.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Commercial mindset with a focus on client experience, conversion rates, and operational performance.
• Hands-on approach with the ability to build and improve processes within a fast-paced environment.
