Senior MEP Manager

Role overview

Project delivery

• Lead planning, coordination, review, and execution of MEP works throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to deliver MEP systems and infrastructure on time.
• Coordinate MEP interfaces with civil, structural, utility, and infrastructure works.
• Identify project risks and technical or construction issues; implement mitigation and corrective actions.

Procurement, construction, and handover

• Oversee MEP equipment procurement, expediting, delivery tracking, and logistics coordination against schedules and construction milestones.
• Review and approve MEP designs, shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical proposals.
• Monitor compliance with specifications, codes, quality standards, and health and safety requirements.
• Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, operational handover, defect resolution, snagging, and handover documentation.

Project controls and coordination

• Manage project schedules, progress reporting, inspections, and quality assurance processes.
• Support client and stakeholder coordination and provide technical guidance throughout project delivery.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, or a related Engineering discipline.
• At least 15 years managing MEP works on large-scale infrastructure projects, including at least seven years in a senior managerial or leadership role.
• Proven PMCM or consultancy experience on major infrastructure, utilities, transportation, roads, airports, water, wastewater, or smart city developments.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholder interfaces.

Technical knowledge and preferred experience

• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical distribution, substations, power systems, plumbing, firefighting, ELV, SCADA, and building services systems.
• Previous Saudi Arabia or GCC experience is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
