Role overview

Responsibilities

• Manage civil activities and interfaces from inception to completion; ensure compliance with contract requirements, designs, codes, regulations, quality, and safety.
• Support estimation, constructability review, and construction management; develop plans, schedules, and budgets and monitor adherence.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, architects, and regulators and report progress to senior management.
• Monitor contractor interfaces, prevent rework, resolve design and site bottlenecks, and investigate safety incidents or near misses.
• Inspect sites for progress, quality, and safety; provide technical guidance, resolve site issues, and mitigate risks.
• Review method statements, installation drawings, site testing procedures, decommissioning and feasibility studies, and risk assessments.
• Conduct quarterly audits of third parties and EPC contractors.
• Review designs and drawings, contribute to constructability and material selection, and resolve design issues.
• Implement QA/QC procedures, inspect and test materials and workmanship, and document and resolve non-conformities.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other professionals and mentor junior engineers and site staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 5–10 years of site supervision experience focused on water pipeline or IWTP projects.
• Professional Engineer license or eligibility for licensure.
• Proven civil engineering experience in site management and construction; strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
• Proficiency in project management software and AutoCAD or similar design tools.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills; able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and environmental stewardship.
