WSP seeks an experienced Construction Manager for its PMCM team supporting a landmark development in Riyadh.
The role represents the client on site and leads construction supervision, contractor management, stakeholder coordination, and project execution.
The position focuses on progress, quality, safety, compliance, schedule, and budget objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead site construction activities and monitor contractors against schedules, quality standards, and contract requirements.
- Resolve delivery issues; coordinate with stakeholders, consultants, contractors, authorities, and client representatives.
- Review construction methodologies, logistics, recovery plans, sequencing, and contractor resource deployment.
- Chair progress meetings, report performance, and ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, permits, and regulations.
- Monitor HSE and quality; manage inspections, testing, commissioning, handover, and close-out.
- Support claims, variations, delays, and risk mitigation; implement measures to maintain project targets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- At least 15 years of construction management experience, including at least 8 years in a Consultant, PMC, or PMCM environment.
- Immediate availability or a short notice period; prior Construction Manager, Senior Construction Manager, or similar leadership experience.
- Experience delivering large-scale infrastructure, public realm, mixed-use, transportation, urban development, or giga projects and managing contractors for a client.
- Strong construction supervision, QA/QC, HSE, contract administration, stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Previous GCC experience is essential; Saudi Arabia and Riyadh project experience is highly preferred.
