Pasyon International Technologies is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer.
Responsibilities
- Manage the mechanical scope of works for conformance with contract documents and the procedures manual.
- Review, approve, and process mechanical technical submittals; answer mechanical-related RFIs.
- Supervise mechanical activities and operations.
- Review mechanical change-order proposals and contractor claims, and prepare recommendations for the MEP PM.
- Review contractor project record documents relevant to the discipline.
- Assist with inspection of completed works and monitor start-up, testing, commissioning, and handover.
- Sign off completed mechanical works with completed documentation.
- Perform other duties assigned by the MEP PM.
Qualifications and experience
- Minimum bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; the posting marks a bachelor's degree as required.
- Experience is stated as “Minimum Fifteen (7) years,” an internally inconsistent figure; the posting separately specifies at least 5 years of Mechanical Engineer experience in the UAE and 5 years in the Middle East.
- Strong technical background.
- Excellent knowledge of mechanical systems, products, materials, and applicable design and construction codes.
- Ability to review and comment on documentation; understanding of specifications and authority requirements.
- Understand the discipline from project start through handover.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 7,500–8,000 per month.
