Drafting duties
- Create plumbing drawings, schematics, and piping layouts for residential and commercial projects.
- Consult clients, engineers, and architects to develop plans and specifications.
- Prepare detailed plumbing system drawings, including rough-ins and fixtures.
- Develop installation specifications and materials lists.
- Research applicable building codes and regulations.
- Collaborate with other drafters, update drawings for design or scope changes, and check work for accuracy and quality.
Knowledge and experience
- At least 3 years of Plumbing Draftsman experience in a contracting company; the posting separately lists 4 years as required.
- At least 2 years of UAE experience as a Plumbing Draftsman is required.
- GCC experience is preferred.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents.
- Knowledge of plumbing engineering principles, materials, and regulations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail, accurate drafting, good communication, and collaborative teamwork.
Pay
- AED 5,500–6,000 per month.
