Plumbing Draftsman role for residential and commercial projects based in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and Ras Al Khaimah.
The posting seeks candidates available in the UAE for immediate joining and specifies in-person work.
Key responsibilities
- Create plumbing drawings, schematics, and plumbing or piping layouts for residential and commercial projects.
- Consult with clients, engineers, and architects to develop plumbing plans and specifications.
- Prepare detailed plumbing-system drawings, including rough-in and fixtures.
- Develop installation specifications and materials lists.
- Research applicable building codes and regulations.
- Collaborate with drafters, update drawings for design or scope changes, and review work for accuracy and quality.
Knowledge and experience
- At least 3 years as a Plumbing Draftsman in a contracting company; the posting separately specifies 4 years of Plumbing Draftsman experience.
- At least 2 years of UAE experience as a Plumbing Draftsman; GCC experience is preferred.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents; knowledge of plumbing engineering principles, materials, and regulations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail, accurate drawing skills, communication, and teamwork.
Pay
- Pay is AED 5,500–6,000 per month.
Workplace
- In-person work on projects in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, or Ras Al Khaimah.
