Senior Manager - Social Media

Job purpose

Responsibilities

• Lead social media strategy, editorial calendars, and audience development across corporate and executive channels.
• Create posts, video, graphics, carousels, and other content from business priorities and communications themes.
• Develop social positioning and content for the CEO and selected C-suite executives.
• Own KPIs and reporting for reach, impressions, engagement, and follower growth; analyze performance and optimize plans.
• Benchmark competitors, monitor conversations, and test content formats and distribution tactics.
• Use generative AI across research, ideation, writing, editing, visual development, analysis, and production.
• Identify automation opportunities and partner with AI and technology teams on tools.
• Establish workflows, approvals, SLAs, and guardrails with Marketing, Communications, Compliance, Legal, and other stakeholders.
• Integrate social media with PR, events, partnerships, and wider communications.

Qualifications and experience

• At least 7 years’ social media experience; financial services, fintech, technology, or complex B2B experience is ideal.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Strong understanding of platform algorithms, distribution mechanics, and audience behavior.
• Demonstrated ability to grow reach, engagement, and followers through content and channel optimization.
• Excellent English writing and editing, including simplifying complex topics.
• Strong practical generative AI experience in content, visual development, analytics, and workflow improvement.
• Able to independently produce high-quality business content and visual assets at pace.
• Strong judgment, creativity, curiosity, and effectiveness in a fast-moving environment.
