Job Purpose
Drive the growth and performance of Zand’s card portfolio across Retail, Wealth, and Business Banking.
Oversee the end-to-end card product lifecycle, portfolio performance, customer experience, card scheme relationships, and BIN Sponsorship partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow the card portfolio, focusing on customer engagement, revenue, and profitability.
- Develop and execute card product strategies, roadmaps, and new propositions.
- Manage the product lifecycle from development and launch through optimization.
- Lead the SME Debit Card and Retail Wealth Card programs.
- Monitor activation, spend, transactions, and profitability.
- Manage relationships with card schemes, processors, digital wallet providers, and other partners.
- Grow the BIN Sponsorship business, including partner onboarding and relationship management.
- Monitor market trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in any field.
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in banking, payments, or financial services, with strong exposure to card products and portfolio management.
- Strong knowledge of card schemes, issuance models, product development, portfolio performance, and profitability.
- Experience managing card scheme and partner relationships.
Skills and Preferred Qualifications
- Strong commercial, analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Exposure to BIN Sponsorship is advantageous.
- CSPO or PMP certification is advantageous; an MBA or postgraduate qualification is a plus.
