Senior Manager HSE - Saudi National

Role purpose

Leadership and HSE responsibilities

• Set HSE strategies and departmental KPIs, improve systems and programs, monitor performance, and advise executive leadership on risks and mitigation.
• Oversee regulatory compliance, incident prevention, hazard identification, risk assessments, safety controls, and incident investigations.
• Develop environmental programs and monitor permits, waste, pollution prevention, energy efficiency, sustainability, and ESG objectives.
• Conduct and manage audits, inspections, and compliance assessments; track corrective and preventive actions and maintain readiness for ISO certifications.
• Develop training and competency programs, promote employee awareness, mentor teams, and foster a reporting and learning culture.
• Liaise with authorities, clients, contractors, consultants, project teams, operations, and HR; represent the organization at HSE forums.
• Maintain emergency response and business continuity plans, lead drills and crisis management, and ensure emergency preparedness.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional certifications are listed as examples: NEBOSH Diploma, CSP, CMIOSH, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, or ISO 14001 Lead Auditor.
• 15+ years of progressive HSE experience and 5+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Experience in construction, buildings, mixed-use, or large-scale project environments.
• Demonstrated success implementing HSE management systems and leading organizational safety initiatives.
