Key Responsibilities

• Lead the landscape design vision and delivery across a diverse development portfolio.
• Define landscape design principles, public realm strategies, and placemaking initiatives aligned with project objectives.
• Drive innovative and sustainable design solutions that enhance project quality and user experience.
• Maintain consistency in design standards, character, and quality throughout all project phases.
• Balance design excellence with commercial, operational, and technical requirements.
• Manage landscape architects and specialist consultants from concept through project completion.
• Review consultant deliverables to ensure alignment with project goals, timelines, and quality standards.
• Lead design workshops, presentations, and coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide clear design direction and timely feedback to support successful project delivery.
• Oversee the review and approval of design packages, including concept, schematic, detailed design, IFC, and tender documentation.
• Ensure designs comply with company standards, authority requirements, sustainability objectives, and operational needs.
• Identify design risks, resolve inconsistencies, and coordinate with architecture, planning, engineering, infrastructure, and project delivery teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, Architecture, or a related discipline; postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• Professional registration or membership with a recognized industry body is preferred.
• 10–15 years of experience delivering landscape, urban design, or public realm projects.
• Strong background working with developers, master developers, and large-scale mixed-use or urban developments.
• Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary consultants and managing projects through all design stages.
• Solid understanding of project delivery within the Middle East/GCC market is highly valued.
