Senior Landscape Architect

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Lead landscape architecture and public-realm concepts from visioning through detailed design.
• Create hand sketches, freehand illustrations, and digital visualizations to communicate design intent.
• Support landscape master planning, urban design, public realm, and detailed landscape architecture projects.
• Collaborate with architects, urban designers, engineers, planners, and environmental specialists on integrated solutions.
• Develop creative, sustainable, cost-effective proposals aligned with client aspirations and project objectives.
• Prepare presentations, reports, drawings, design narratives, and technical documentation.
• Participate in client meetings, workshops, and design reviews and present concepts and solutions.
• Support delivery from concept design through construction while maintaining quality standards.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to the Landscape Design Studio's growth.
• Track industry trends, design technologies, sustainability initiatives, and best practices.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of professional experience in a landscape architecture, urban design, or multidisciplinary consultancy.
• Experience delivering landscape architecture and public realm projects across the Middle East.
• Strong conceptual design ability and a portfolio showcasing hand drawing, sketching, and digital design.
• Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Rhino, Lumion, Enscape, or equivalent visualization tools.
• Excellent graphic communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
• Strong understanding of landscape detailing, construction methodologies, and project delivery processes.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
