JASARA PMC is seeking a Senior IT Business Analyst to lead analysis and documentation of complex business processes.
Work with stakeholders to develop IT solutions aligned with strategic objectives and provide guidance across the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Lead stakeholder requirements-gathering and analysis sessions to identify needs and objectives.
- Translate complex business requirements into functional specifications and design documents.
- Conduct impact, gap, and feasibility analyses to inform decisions.
- Collaborate with IT teams, project managers, and vendors to support successful IT solution delivery.
- Develop and maintain process flows, use cases, user stories, and other detailed documentation.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units, build shared understanding, and resolve issues.
- Develop test plans and coordinate user acceptance testing.
- Mentor junior analysts and promote business analysis best practices.
- Monitor emerging technologies and industry trends and recommend improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
- At least 5–8 years of business analysis experience in IT environments.
- Proven ability to manage complex requirements gathering and project documentation.
- Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with SDLC and agile methodologies.
- Proficiency with business analysis and project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
