Senior Investment Analyst

About This Role

Job Objective:

To play a key role in supporting investment and strategic decision-making by preparing and analyzing advanced financial data, developing financial models, and monitoring portfolio performance ensuring sustainable growth, maximizing returns, and mitigating risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and analyze comprehensive financial feasibility studies for real estate development projects (hotels, residential & office towers, retail centers, mixed-use developments).
• Assess key return metrics: IRR, NPV, payback period, and cash flow projections.
• Evaluate investment opportunities using DCF, comparable transactions, and market multiples.
• Run sensitivity analyses and scenario modeling to stress-test key assumptions.
• Support due diligence processes and economic feasibility assessments.
• Develop and maintain dynamic financial models (Three-Statement Models) for forecasting, budgeting, and valuation.
• Prepare annual budgets and rolling financial forecasts in coordination with relevant departments.
• Prepare periodic financial reports with clear, actionable insights for senior management.
• Build and automate financial dashboards using Power BI to enhance reporting efficiency and decision-making.
• Conduct advanced financial analysis covering profitability, cash flow dynamics, and cost structure assessment.
• Analyze financial performance of subsidiaries, identify key variances, and assess their root causes.
• Perform sensitivity and scenario analysis to evaluate the impact of key assumption changes.
• Monitor investment portfolio performance and provide insights on returns, risks, and deviations against strategic plans.
• Provide data-driven recommendations on hold, scale, or exit strategies.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial assumptions with operational and strategic objectives.
• Prepare investor presentations, board decks, and executive dashboards.
• Act as a financial advisor to cross-functional teams, supporting operational and investment decisions.
• Translate complex financial analysis into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership.
• Escalate investment recommendations and financial decisions to the senior leadership.

Technical Skills

• Advanced financial modeling (Three-Statement Models)
• Valuation techniques: DCF, Comparable Companies, Precedent Transactions
• Financial statement analysis and cash flow modeling
• Budgeting and financial forecasting
• Sensitivity analysis and scenario modeling
• Advanced Excel and Power BI (dashboard design and data analysis)
• ERP systems knowledge: Oracle or SAP
• SQL or data analytics tools

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 4–6 years of experience in financial analysis, valuation, investment, or a holding/investment company environment
• Professional Certifications (Preferred):

CFA, FMVA, CMA, or MBA.
