About the Role

Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Oversee all accounting cycles (AR / AP / GL) and ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely monthly closing.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual standalone and consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Maintain and enhance the Chart of Accounts in line with reporting and CMA requirements.
• Ensure readiness of audit schedules, reports, and financial submissions for management, Audit Committee, and Board reporting.

IFRS, Tax & Compliance

• Ensure full compliance with IFRS standards relevant to real estate development and long-term contracts.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and technical accounting treatments.
• Oversee VAT, Zakat, and RET filings and manage all related audits and regulatory requirements with ZATCA.
• Ensure ongoing monitoring of tax balances, recoveries, and compliance obligations with zero penalties or material findings.

Governance & Internal Controls

• Design and implement effective accounting controls and governance frameworks aligned with ICFR, SOD, and DOA requirements.
• Ensure timely closure of internal audit observations and maintain strong relationships with external auditors and advisors.
• Support due diligence activities related to acquisitions, investments, and IPO transactions.

Systems, Transformation & Leadership

• Lead ERP optimization and integration initiatives across accounting and operational systems.
• Support automation and digital reporting initiatives, including Power BI and AI-enabled financial processes.
• Lead, develop, and manage the accounting team through performance management, succession planning, and capability development.
• Support IPO readiness activities, including preparation of historical financial statements and prospectus-related financial disclosures.

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in IFRS and consolidated financial reporting.
• Experience within real estate development, contracting, or long-term project-based industries.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting cycles, financial closing, tax and zakat compliance, and audit management.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle Fusion, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics, in addition to Power BI.
• Solid understanding of internal controls, ICFR frameworks, and IPO or due diligence requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA degree is a plus.
• SOCPA or equivalent professional certification (CPA / ACCA / CMA / CA) preferred.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in finance and accounting, including at least 4 years in a leadership role.
• Prior experience in real estate development, contracting, IPO readiness, or due diligence engagements is highly preferred.
• Full professional proficiency in Arabic and English.
