Role overview

Cybersecurity

• Own cybersecurity across network, endpoint, cloud, and identity; manage firewalls, EDR, SIEM, and PAM.
• Lead vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, incident response, and remediation.
• Drive ISO 27001, DESC ISR, and other applicable security compliance; enforce security policies, access controls, and data-protection practices.

Networking and communications

• Design and manage LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, cloud, and on-premise infrastructure; maintain network performance, capacity, security, and resilience.
• Oversee backups, disaster recovery, and testing of RTO/RPO requirements.
• Manage telephony, SIP, PBX/UC platforms, call routing, and mobile/SIM services; oversee telecom vendors, contracts, SLAs, costs, and failover.

Leadership and governance

• Lead technical teams across cybersecurity, infrastructure, networking, and telephony; manage vendors, budgets, contracts, policies, SOPs, and change management.
• Report on security, infrastructure performance, risks, and projects to the Head of IT and senior management.
• Act as senior escalation point for critical IT and security incidents.

Experience and education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Requires 8–10 years of progressive hands-on IT experience with depth in cybersecurity, enterprise networking, and telephony/UC.
• Requires at least three years of team leadership or management experience and a record of building and developing technical teams.
• Requires security architecture and incident-response ownership in a mid-to-large enterprise, plus enterprise networking and SIP/PBX platform experience.
• Requires experience supporting ISO 27001 or an equivalent information security framework and audit cycles.

Certifications and languages

• Requires CISSP or CISM.
• Requires CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent advanced networking certification.
• Requires ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor certification.
• English is listed; knowledge of any other language is desirable.
