Role Overview
Operates independently with minimal supervision on water infrastructure and hydrological projects.
Responsibilities at this level include designing and programming water-focused databases for applications such as water distribution systems, stormwater management, water quality monitoring, and hydrological analysis.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in water resources engineering, water infrastructure development, or related water sector projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or equivalent engineering discipline.
- Advanced proficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS or equivalent) and CAD platforms (AutoCAD or similar).
- Demonstrated expertise in water-focused database design, programming, and management.
- Proven experience with water distribution systems, stormwater management, watershed analysis, or hydrological modeling.
- Strong project management skills with experience leading moderate to complex water infrastructure initiatives.
- Proficiency in spatial analysis, data visualization, and technical documentation for water sector applications.
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior GIS/CAD professionals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Management, or GIS.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or GIS certification (GISP).
- Experience with water utility management systems and SCADA integration.
- Knowledge of water quality monitoring systems and environmental compliance standards.
- Familiarity with hydrological analysis software and modeling tools.
- Experience with cloud-based GIS platforms and enterprise database systems.
