Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive

Senior Executive - Controllership

to join our finance team.

The role will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate processing of payments and reconciliations, and supporting compliance with internal controls.

The Finance Executive will play a key role in handling customer transactions, vendor settlements, and statutory duties while ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

1. Consolidated Financial Statements (Group Reporting)

  • Support Head Office month-end closing activities as per the closing calendar (accruals, provisions, reallocations, cut-off
  • Prepare and review monthly/quarterly consolidated financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for group entities/subsidiaries
  • Manage consolidation activities including intercompany eliminations, reclassifications, and adjustments
  • Coordinate closing timelines and ensure adherence to the monthly closing calendar
  • Support implementation/improvement of reporting processes, templates, and controls.

2. Budget Control & Cost Governance

  • Own budget tracking and cost controls for non-trade OPEX and selected cost lines; monitor spend vs budget/forecast.
  • Prepare budget vs actual analysis, identify trends, risks, and savings opportunities; propose corrective actions
  • Partner with cost owners to manage PO controls, commitment tracking, and accruals.

3. Audit Closure & Compliance Support

  • Act as a key finance SPOC for external audit, internal audit, and statutory/management audits
  • Ensure timely preparation of audit schedules, reconciliations, supporting documentation, and responses to audit queries
  • Track open audit points and drive closure of audit findings with process owners.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, delegation of authority (DOA), and control requirements.

  • Business Partnering (Supply Chain, HR & Other Non-Trade Functions)
  • Serve as finance business partner for Supply Chain, HR, and other non-trade functions
  • Provide actionable insights on cost drivers (logistics, warehousing, manpower cost, overheads, services, etc.)
  • Support commercial evaluation of initiatives: vendor proposals, service contracts, headcount plans, and process improvements
  • Drive cross-functional alignment on financial outcomes, KPIs, and governance.

Qualification & Experience

  • 4-6 years of post-CA qualified experience in controllership / financial reporting / audit / consolidation in a multi-function environment.
  • Hands-on experience with consolidation, intercompany, and group reporting.
  • Audit-handling skills: documentation, schedules, reconciliations, issue tracking.
  • Ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level business partners.
  • Excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Advanced Excel (Pivot, Power Query preferred), strong PowerPoint/storytelling.
