About The Role
As Sr.
Architect, you'll set the technical vision for how Styli scales to serve millions of customers
across MENA and beyond.
This is a hands-on leadership role - you'll define the architecture
strategy, lead our global engineering capability, and directly mentor architects and leads across
our India and Dubai hubs to build systems worthy of our long-term ambitions.
What You'Ll Do
- Define and own Styli's overall architecture strategy - backend, frontend, and operational
- excellence - aligned to a long-term high-scale product roadmap.
- Set the engineering north star: architecture principles, platform standards, and the technical
- guardrails that enable teams to move fast without breaking things.
- Lead cross-functional architecture councils - align engineering, product, data, and infra
- leadership on foundational technical decisions.
- Drive platform evolution: composable commerce, headless architecture, real-time inventory,
- personalisation infrastructure, and payments at scale.
- Own engineering operational excellence - SLOs, reliability culture, incident frameworks,
- capacity planning, and sustainable on-call practices.
- Directly mentor and grow other technical leads - build a world-class distributed architecture
- function.
- Champion FinOps: infrastructure spend visibility, cost modelling, and build-vs-buy
- decisions.
- Represent engineering architecture in leadership forums - translate technical vision to
- executives and surface strategic risks early.
- Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies - GenAI tooling, real-time data - and determine
- where they unlock business value.
- Lead AI adoption across the engineering organisation - set the strategy for AI-assisted
- development, define guardrails and standards for GenAI in production systems, and build
- the culture that makes AI a default tool across India and Dubai hubs.
