Responsibilities
- Prepare conceptual, preliminary, and detailed estimates for high-rise and low-rise projects, communities, villas, and mixed-use developments.
- Lead feasibility estimates; develop order-of-magnitude budgets and investment-grade cost assessments.
- Advise management on commercial risks and opportunities and conduct sensitivity analyses for project scenarios.
- Establish cost models; prepare quantity-based estimates and rate build-ups.
- Identify savings while preserving quality, functionality, and project objectives.
- Develop design-stage budgets and cost plans; conduct cost benchmarking and market intelligence.
- Support procurement and contract award recommendations.
- Support cost control through cost-code allocation, tracking, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with consultants, design teams, and project stakeholders to ensure estimate accuracy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
- 10–15 years of estimation experience on high-rise residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments, including villas.
- Strong experience in estimation, BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, and cost planning.
- Knowledge of UAE construction market rates and procurement practices.
- Proficiency in CostX, PlanSwift, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience working with developers, PMC organizations, consultants, or major contractors.
- Strong analytical, commercial, and communication skills.
