The Cost Control Engineer monitors, analyzes, and controls project costs throughout construction project lifecycles.

Responsibilities
- Monitor budgets, commitments, expenditure, and forecast costs.
- Review contractor payment applications and verify quantities and progress.
- Analyze variances and prepare monthly cost reports and management analysis.
- Evaluate variation orders, claims, and change requests.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders on cost compliance.
- Review and validate BOQs and cost estimates; track procurement costs and budget allocations.
- Support value engineering and cost optimization; maintain cost control systems and databases.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and cost-to-complete assessments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
- 5–10 years of cost-control experience in high-rise residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments.
- Strong knowledge of BOQs, contracts, budgeting, and cost reporting.
- Experience working with leading main contractors and reviewing contractor claims and variation orders.
- Proficiency in Excel, Expedient, CostX, Candy, Primavera P6, or similar software.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
